Changes and Influencing Factors of the Overseas Remittance Method : Focusing on overseas remittances of foreign workers
본 논문은 핀테크 기반 해외송금업체들의 주요한 특징을 확인하고 해외송금을 주로 이용하는 외국인 근로자들이 선호하는 송금방식과 이에 영향을 주는 요인들을 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 해외송금 방식들의 특징, 송금의 간편성, 경제성을 확인하고, 외국인 근로자들에게 진행한 설 문조사 결과 중, 선호하는 해외송금방식과 이에 영향을 주는 요인, 만족도에 대해서 카이제곱 검정에 의한 교차분석을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 자주 사용하는 송금방식에 연령, 송금액, 송금 빈도, 근무지가 연관성을 보였다. 연령이 높고, 송금액이 크며, 송금빈도가 낮을수록 은행의 해외송금을 선호하였으며, 연령이 낮고, 송금액이 작으며, 송금빈도가 높을수록 송금전문업체 의 해외송금 서비스를 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 서비스에 대한 만족도는 송금전문업 체가 은행보다 더 높게 나타나서 은행의 서비스 개선의 필요성도 확인할 수 있었다.

해외송금시장의 변화와 송금방식 영향요인 : 외국인 근로자의 해외송금을 중심으로
Purpose : The objective of this study is to examine the major characteristics of oversea remittance methods and analyze the influencing factors of the overseas remittance methods. Research design, data, methodology : The analysis was based on a survey on foreign workers in Korea who are the main users of the remittance service. Chi-squared test was used to find the influencing factors for the remittance method choice. Results : The result showed that the age, remittance amount, frequency of remittance, and workplace were related to the frequently used remittance method. Conclusions : The lower the age, the smaller the amount of remittance, and the higher the frequency of remittance, the more remittance service of the money transfer company was preferred. Also, as the satisfaction level of the bank is lower than MTO, the bank needs to improve its services to survive in the competition.
